Welcome to wabws.org, the home of the West African Biotechnology Workshop (WABW) series. This series has been operating since 2002 under the direction of Oyekanmi Nash with support from host institutions, Nigerian government and development partners. Since its establishment, the WABW series has trained over 350 students from academia and government laboratories in many African countries.
Sustainable capacity-building and capability-strengthening in education, training, research and development in the fields of Molecular Biology, Bioinformatics, Genomics and Proteomics, including translation of high-throughput biological data into solutions for health, agriculture and the environment.
This Course will introduce participants to Internet-based resources on the subject of Pathogen
comparative genomics.
